The “special guest” promised by Matt Houston this week is none other than, former WWE European, Hardcore, and tag team champion Matt Hardy, who sat down one-on-one with Scott for a chat about the rebirth of OMEGA (the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts), the wrestling career of his fiancee Reby Sky, how she’s changed his life, a random Scott question about he and Jeff’s motion-capture work for the WWE’s late-nineties video games, and his future plans. Do they involve TNA? A return to WWE? Will there be a version 3.0? Find out! And follow Matt Hardy on Twitter @MATTHARDYBRAND. You can also check out his shop @SHOPMATTHARDY

Afterwards, Matt Houston and longtime independent referee Red Jones join Scott to talk about OMEGA‘s “Support the Sport” event May 25 at East Wake High School in Wendell, NC. Hardy will team up with longtime friend “Hurricane” Shane Helms to battle The Extreme Horsemen, CW Anderson (@ECWAnderson on Twitter) and Steve Corino (@KINGcorino). Reby Sky (@RebySky) will face NWA Women’s World Champion Kacee Carlisle (@kaceecarlisle) in a non-title match, and C&C Wrestling Factory (Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman) will battle Preston Quinn and “The Mid Atlantic Outlaw” Louis Moore. They talk about OMEGA’s big event in Aberdeen, NC, where Scott’s questionable fan-counting issues come into play (he estimated 800 fans had gathered in the elementary school gym. The number is likely lower than that, albeit impressive.) They talk about OMEGA’s possible role in a wrestling resurgence, and generally pimp the heck out of the event, because they are excited. Well, at least Scott is. Get your tickets to Support the Sport here.

Then the conversation turns to Jimmy Hart. The NCWA presents “Strive to Survive” July 27, and Louis Moore and Matt Houston acquired the managerial services of “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart for the event, along with Scotty Mathews, Trevor Lee, and Ben Tyler. They will battle the Dawson Brothers, The Powers of Pain, and Jimi Love in a tag elimination match at the Clayton Fitness Center. Tickets go on sale July 1, but mark your calendars NOW.

Later, Scott, Matt, and Red reflect on their first fifty episodes and talk about continuing to improve the show. It gets misty, folks. Be warned.
